__try bindining the edge with bias tape... it will be a little harder but will look nice and you won have the hassle of trying to pin an edge that is smaller on the inside that is smaller on the inside than on the outside!

Subject: [Namron] Sewing question

I have a quick question about sewing.  I have made a rapier fighters coif.. looks pretty good.. almost done.  But the face hole is giving me fits.  There are four layers of fabric (drop tested good) and the hole is a little small.. a little too small but not too bad, I can live with it.

The problem is that i need to fold back the material to hem it so it doesnt fray but its very difficult to get it to fold back to pen and hem.  Any suggestions?
