I shall add to that defense.

If you haven't heralded, and you haven't made that mistake where you
flub something in front of everyone, then you can't imagine it.  He's
got eighty-eleven things on his plate, he's trying to listen to
everything that's going on, and he's effectively the Master of
Ceremonies at that point and time.  Do all of that, then try to get
everything perfect.

Lucas, you've joined the ranks of heralds.  We've all been there and
done that.  Some of us with clusters.  Welcome to the club.

I don't mind you guys teasing him.  It's a part of the game.  But make
sure it's understood that it's done with love and affection.

Put a different way?  He's inviolate as a Herald, and he's speaking
with the voice of the Baron/ess or the Crown.  If he makes a mistake,
it's not him making the mistake...it's Them.  (And, by definition,
They can't make a mistake in Their own Court, right?)
