Namron Populace Meeting 9/07/10

Norman Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Meeting started at 7:40 pm

HE Orlando announced that Lord Robert of the Faire is the new Herald for 
Namron.

HE Orlando and HE Cat opened the meeting with discussion of how great 
GAA was with 3 strings of combat archery, awesome tavern run by Baroness 
Annabelle and Duchess Vanessa which was under budget, and special thanks 
to Lord Linus who was Co-Autocrat for the event. Also how Gothic Wars 
was great with Lord Eynon as the winner of the Zombie Tournament.

Seneschal---New deputies: Lady Melina de Mantua-Emergency Replacement; 
Lord Aonghas Galloglach Domnhnuillach-Deputy; and Lord Eynon ap 
Madoc-Deputy.

Treasurer---GAA with 109 attending; gate came out even. Before GAA we 
were at roughly $9,400. With a few outstanding checks, we are somewhere 
between $9,400 and $11,000.

Chronicler---Plume is going well, need any submissions by the 25^th of 
each month. Please submit articles and information about SCA.

A & S---been very busy, apologize for not being around a lot in August. 
Will need 1 more deputy. Really need people who would like to teach 
classes to contact me at NamronMoAS at gmail.com 
<mailto:NamronMoAS at gmail.com>. I will be at the Hidden Castle on Monday 
with knitting.

Rapier---We are having practice on Tuesdays at 7pm at the Sellers 
Recreation Center, we have been on the inside in the gym. We have loaner 
gear, so come out and enjoy.

Knights Marshal---We are having practice on Wednesdays at 7pm, right now 
we are outside, till it is too cool, and then we will practice inside. 
Also there is a Northern Regional Fighter practice scheduled for October 
17 at Shawnee at Kidspace hosted by Skorragardr. Lord Alexander also 
spoke about the upcoming Protectorate, which is October 8-10 at Camp 
Dakani. We will be having a Protectorate planning meeting on Thursday 
September 9th at 7pm at the home of HE Orlando and HE Caterina. Ayesha 
will be gathering gifts for the gifts baskets, please contact her if you 
have any donations.

Hospitaler---working on getting the kit together. Would like to get 
pictures in action of SCA people. Would like to gather them and show 
people what the SCA is all about. Please send me any you would like to 
donate with a release.

Thrown Weapons---My deputy Ciara is not yet authorized, but she is 
working on getting that done in the next few weeks. Gothic Wars was 
great and I was able to get authorized as a Combat Archery Marshall. 
Look forward to getting to do more combat archery.

Webminister---working on the website, nothing new to add.

Archery Marshall---GAA was great with a great turnout. Still working on 
getting combat bolts for the Barony. It's been too hot a lot lately for 
practice, but it is still scheduled every Sunday from 2pm-4pm unless it 
is over 100 degrees. Will be attending BAM and will be having combat 
archery there.

Seneschal---Opening bids for Beltane 2011 for autocrats. It will be open 
till November 1^st . If anyone is interested in becoming the autocrats 
for Beltane 2011 please let Their Excellencies and myself know. Also 
Beltane will be a themed event, the theme will be "Alice in Wonderland".

Tadhg---I want to thank everyone that has been coming out to the open 
A&S nights at the hidden castle. We have lots of activities going on at 
this time. Everyone should try and come out and enjoy.

HE Orlando---Axeman will be held on October 22-24, Lord Charles of 
Portsmouth and Lord Vincenti da Murano are the autocrats. The next 
planning meeting for Axeman will be on Sunday September 12^th at Kids 
Space in Shawnee at the Skorragardr Pop meeting. Axeman will be held at 
Roman Nose State Park, there are 10 cabins, which sleep 16 each. We will 
be having the list field in the middle of the cabins.

HE Orlando---The Sunday after Triumph (September 19^th ) there will be a 
Storm meeting at 6pm at Cat and Orlando's house.

Mistress Alix---We are working on a Bayou Tapestry Project, that will be 
worked on Kingdom wide, and it will be somewhere between 220-260 feet 
long when completed. Right now we need help with dying wool; spinning 
wool and embroidery to the tapestry. Please contact me if you are able 
to help.

Kyna Terricsdottir---want to announce that there is a Tulsa Renaissance 
Fair this Saturday and Sunday. Also this Saturday will be Mom and Dad's 
wedding anniversary party. Please contact me if anyone wants to go to 
Fair this weekend, and there should be crash space.
