[Namron] Naming of the North!

Hopefully this won't be the only chance to discuss such an important matter before a decision is made and a heraldic submission made.

With less than a week's notice (for many of us, anyway) some people may not be able to make the meeting. Even some people who are going to be at Mooneschadowe may not be able to get there before the meeting, especially as a time Friday evening has not been announced. I know many people who aren't even able to get to a site before midnight, let alone have camp set up and be ready for an important meeting.

Some of us also need time to think about what we would like in a name, and what language it should be in. Personally, I think Latin may be an appropriate language, since we have so many diverse personnaes it may be the closest to a "common" language we would have.

Subject: [Namron] Naming of the North!

What a great time to be here! This Friday at Camp Will Rogers during the
Mooneschadowe event they are going to have a meeting to discuss names
that we can use when we talk about Northern Ansteorra.

Some names that people have talked about is something to do with Mother
Earth, Mother Land, Red Land, Red Earth, Heart Land, or whatever you
might think of. Translate those in to a medieval language like Norse and
then be able to present it.

If you want to have input now is the time to do it. If you will not be
able to make the meeting but have some ideas please send them to someone
that will be going. We all have voices, we should let them be heard so
we can pick our favorite names.

YIS,

Vincenti
