I am starting a list of some of the things that may have been broken,
torn, missing, or needing improvement
Gwyneth tent (Green Poles) -
Has a small tear at one of the corners next to the pole
Ropes need marking
Stakes need marking
Bjorn tent (red poles) -
Ropes need marking
Stakes need marking
Information Booth -
Front Panel needs to be cut so that it can fit easier in to trailers or
pickups
Top needs holes drilled so that it is bolted to frame.
Baronial Chair bags -
Need velcro on the tops of all the bags so they will stay closed and
hold in the chair pieces better.
Need straps on bags for easier carrying.
Storm Dag tent (yellow poles) - this is more of a fair weather daytime
viewing pavilion -
Canvas has had many tears in it (all have been repaired) and does not
have the side ropes for hanging side walls on it.
it is missing 4 poles
The upright and ridge poles may need some work soon also.
Tent pole pins need to be glued in so that they do not get lost.
Tent Stakes -
We do not have enough of them.
We also need a bunch of stakes for the walls when we use them - these
could be smaller stakes - since each tent does not have their own walls
we will not be able to color code these stakes for each tent
Ropes in general -
I would like to see us have extra ropes that stay with each tent. I know
that we had at least one rope break this weekend (there were probably
others that I did not know about). I don't know how to make the ropes
that weave back in to make the loops that go over the tent spikes, I can
tie knots but I really like the weave. If we have someone that can teach
us maybe we could make some more ropes so that each tent has spares and
we can color the wooden pieces that same as the poles.
Tables - I know we had one table that died this weekend. Others have
been broken over the years. Do we need more tables?
Please add to this list and send it back to me and I will sent it back
out again.
Vincenti
