[Namron] March 2011 Officer Meeting Notes

To throw in my 2 cents worth...
I go to the rapier/scribal meeting fairly regularly, and the only things
going on there is painting and poking (snicker). If you're not going to
these meetings, you're not missing any business discussions. Some things
MAY come up in discussion from time to time, but it's always just to talk
about. Never from a business or policy point of view.
I don't see why there is a need to shorten Namron's Populace meeting. It's
never been that long in the first place. As Annabelle said, it rarely lasts
more than 45 minutes. And if people show up late, that's their own problem.
I haven't attended the Namron Pop in a while, because it's so far south for
me now. So I may be missing a dynamic in the situation.

Good thoughts and points.
On people arriving late there is not much we can do except encourage
them to get there earlier. We need to keep the meetings running on time
for everyone's benefit.
Last month ran longer but that was mostly because of the closing stuff
from Medfair, stuff coming up on Beltane, and trying to have all of the
officers speak a little bit more so that the new people know more about
who does what and what is going on.
I am not sure what the best solution is except one ...
Keep lines of communication open and listen to everyone that wants to
have a chance to speak!

itself longer, and encourage populace discussion of things that are either
upcoming, or what went right / wrong with things that occurred in the past
month. I know of times when people got there late and discovered that the
meeting itself was already over.
