[Namron] Embroidery class

Any type of fabric you enjoy embroidering on can work. Generally something smooth, rather than a textured surface. I have used Kona cotton, sheeting, Aida cloth, cross-stitch fabric, and linen, among others.
I usually do counted work, so something that you can easily count threads on would be better for that. Otherwise, we can draw the pattern on the fabric, which was done. There are partially worked existing pieces with the pattern drawn on.

I am planning on attending. Is there a particular type of fabric that's easier to work on?
I will also be going to the Sooner Kids' Science Club meeting featuring the trebuchets earlier that evening; I hope there isn't an overlap!

Greetings,
I am planning on offering an introduction to Blackwork embroidery class after populace meeting next week, and was wanting to get an estimate of how many people are interested, so I can have enough handouts and supplies.
If you wish to bring your own supplies, all that is needed is some fabric, preferably white, a sewing needle, and embroidery floss. It does not have to be black, especially for learning. You may also want an embroidery hoop or frame, it is easier to work for most people.
