How Christianity absorbed the warrior narrative.
Presented by Lee Green of the University of Oklahoma Department of
History/Religious Studies
Come learn more about the middle ages just for the fun of learning! No
papers, no tests, just interesting information about life long ago. This is
the first lecture of the Medieval Fair Free Lecture Series that will be
presented monthly.

And Ann Marie asked me to remind our non SCA friends and family who may be
interested in participating in the 2012 Medieval Fair auditions for Cast and
Court are quickly coming up:
Medieval Fair
Auditions
For Royal Court and Street Characters
Sunday September 11, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Norman Public Library, 225 N Webster
Hear ye, all noble lords, ladies, and performers:
The Medieval Fair needs your talent to create its fair court, street and
other non-stage performers. There are roles for everyone. If you think you
are not a performer, come and let us prove you wrong! For auditions, you
need no costume, no props, no prepared audition pieces, and no stress! Come
have some improvisational medieval fun! (Rehearsals will be monthly during
Fall Semester and biweekly during Spring Semester.)
