Right! We now have the final details for our participation in the Norman
Christmas Holiday Parade this coming Saturday, Dec. 10.

The Parade will begin at Norman High School, 911 W. Main St, and the
marshalling area will be in the east parking lot which is just south of the
school's football stadium. Please note parking will not be allowed in that
lot, but you are welcome to park in any of the other lots around the school.

While line up begins at 8:30 am, we will not need to be there until about
9:30 and the Parade steps off at 10:00 SHARP. We will be strutting and
riding with the Medieval Fair Cast which is Entry #7 (please remember this
number so Parade Volunteers can get you to the right spot). They will have
a Float themed with an Adam and Eve Paradise Tree decorated with Apples.
The route will take us east along Main Street to downtown Norman ending at
approximately Main and Crawford streets. This is about 1 mile; so if you
wish to strut please wear comfortable shoes. Otherwise there will be room
to ride on the Float.

And since this is a good mile, perhaps a couple folks can volunteer to stage
vehicles near the endpoint to shuttle us back to the school. If you can
help with this please post on the list and we'll work out details.

Finally, if you are hungry and wish to fuel up before the Parade, the
Kiwanis will be hosting a pancake breakfast inside the school. Cost is $6
for adults and $2 for children 12 and under.

This is a GREAT opportunity to show our support for our Medieval Fair whilst
having lots of fun. So put on your most colourful garb and come join us.
And if you are a Fighter, consider donning your Armor and carrying your
favorite weapon.

See you Saturday!
