*B & B : *Greetings Namron hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and
Happy New Year. Its been an excellent year for Namron. We now have the
Plume available in pdf format on the New Namron Website. We would like
to give out word fame for our local artisans. We would like to show you
the leather gorgets that Andrew Turnball has made. It is excellent
leather work and craftsmanship. Gulf Wars is coming up we are preparing
for a great time, will have a great food plan, and new showers. There
will be a med faire planning meeting on January 20th at the home of Lady
Droen. Wolfgang will be sending out a notice. We will also have a
Storm meeting on January 18th at 6:30 pm at Sellers Rec Center. On
Tuesday January 11th at 7pm the Firestorm Ink Scribal Guild will be

the Hidden Castle, Lord Eynon will be sending out a notice to the list.
*Seneschal: *I still have a few Known World Handbooks, for the cost of
$23, if anyone is interested in purchasing one, please contact Vincenti
or myself. Also we have a new Webminister, Ciara inghean Tomas. She was
unable to be here tonight, but if you have any information for the
website that needs to be updated, please contact her.
*Treasurer: *We have around $10,108 in the checking account. We will be
having the tents deducted from that amount. They are being ordered this
week. My 2 year term will end in August, anyone interested in this
officer position, please contact me and we can start working together
now. There will be a treasurer class at Winterkingdom at the end of
this month.
*Herald: *Its been a slow month, I will be choosing my deputies this
month. Want to start having heraldic submissions to be at the open A & S
nights at the hidden castle in the near future.
*Chronicler: *The Plume is now available in pdf format on the Namron
website. We will still be printing a few copies and bringing to the Pop
meeting. Deputy Katheryn would like to recreate the calendar, the
current one is hard to work with. Will be monitoring website and making
adjustments, but would like all submissions to be sent to me by the 22nd
of the month. As of January 1st we need to have release forms filled
out for anything submitted into the Plume. Come see me, I have copies of
the release form and you can sign them now.
*Rapier Marshal: *Practices going well with new people still attending.
Anyone interested in rapier fighting at Gulf Wars come out to the
practices 7pm on Tuesdays at Sellers Rec Center, we have loaner
equipment (armor and swords) that can be used.
*Knights Marshal:* Chivalric practice has been canceled the last couple
of weeks due to the holidays, but we are gearing up for Gulf Wars come
out of Wednesdays at 7pm at the Sellers Rec Center. There will be
Northern Regional Fighter Practices coming up I believe Lord Eynon will
be hosting the first one of 2011 and the time and date will be posted to
the list.
*Archery Marshal: *"68" I will tell you about that later. I have cut
out 6 new combat crossbow stocks. We have 50 bolts that will be loaner
gear, only the heads are still on back order, will be checking on the
status of those. Practice on Sundays at 2pm. Now back to "68", we have
68 days til Gulf Wars, information is on the website, there will be
archery, thrown weapons, heavy and light fighting, A & S, classes, you
name it and it will probably be going on there. We had close to 40
people to camp with Namron the last couple of years and are looking
forward to that many this year. We have invited Wiesenfeuer to come and
camp with us this year. Lady Afsaneh will be running the meal plan, HE
Donnchadh will be getting the showers with hot water on demand. When
registering remember to register Barony of Namron. The deadline for
pre-registration is February 18th. Also all the volunteer points from
Gulf War are totaled and they give money back to your Barony based on
the number of volunteer points.
*A & S: *I want to thank everyone who came out for caroling in December.
We have standing invites to both the J D McCarty Center and the VA
Center to come back anytime. We have the Med Faire planning meeting on
January 20th at 7pm at my house. Next Monday (the 10th) is our official
A & S night and we will be at HE Donnchadh's house where he is teaching
silk painting. Next month Annabelle will be teaching inkle weaving on
February 7th at 7pm. January 15th we have a general work day to work on
gulf war projects, wood working, sewing at the house of HE Donnchadh and
HE Katheryn.
*Wolfgang:* My plan is to form a staff of directors for Med Faire. The
planning meeting will be on January 20th at 7pm at Lady Droen's house.
I will post to the list a list of the different directors that are
needed for Med Faire and will be setting up a website to have the
information also. Lets make this our best Med Faire ever. Also you may
contact Lord Chris with any questions if I am unavailable.
* Barone: *"Great beautiful brand new tents!!! 7 foot poles!!!" Its
going to be Gulf Wars 20, lots of fun. We are going to have a
competition for art for the new tents. It will be judged at Beltane,
think out what you would like to see on the tents and submit it. We will
be establishing and publishing the requirements for submission. There
will be at least 3 tents that will need a design.
Meeting adjourned 812pm
