Here are the Namron officer meeting notes 1/17/11

Namron Seneschal

*Seneschal: *We have Med Faire Planning meeting January 20th at 7pm at 
Lady Droens house; Beltane Planning meeting January 24th 7pm at Hidden 
Castle; I think that as officers we need to make an effort to attend all 
of the planning meetings in order to help support those people who have 
stepped forward to autocrat an event for the barony. I plan on attending 
Red Tape and Winterkingdom and plan on taking other classes (Herald, 
Treasurer, etc) to help me to be a better Seneschal.

*Archery Marshal: *Have 1 loaner cross bow made for combat archery; have 
50 bolts available for loaner, but need to put them together, will work 
on scheduling a night at the hidden castle to work on those; Anyone 
interested in Siege Weapon authorization they will have a class at 
Winterkingdom; String making class at Winterkingdom; Will work on 
picking a date for 2011 Grand Assembly of Archers and send out a message 
to B&Bs to select a date and see which Barony's are interested in hosting.

*A & S: *This months silk painting class was great. Next month Annabelle 
will be teaching inkle weaving, let me know if you need a loom.  I want 
to put out a form for the populace to fill out that gives me information 
on what type of A&S that they do and excel in. It would be for my office 
and not published unless the person wants it published. I would like to 
see at GAA a A&S that involves archery.

*Hospitaler: *not present

*Knights Marshal: *Its been business as usual, practices are going well, 
we have an average of 7 participants each week. I have been attending 
every work day that is available, we have been making armor, sewing 
garb, making crossbows. I think anyone that is in need of anything made 
should come to the workdays. For loaner equipment I need elbow and knee 
cops. Also will be plan war meetings at practice on Wednesday in order 
to start working as a group to fight at Gulf Wars. Will post to the list 
when those nights are, but I think anyone who plans on fighting Namron 
needs to come to the weekly practices now to get ready.

*Rapier Marshal: *not present

*Chronicler: *Need articles and pictures (with releases). The deadline 
for those will be the 24th of each month.

*Webminister: *not present

*Treasurer: *at the end of December we had a total of $10,108.15 in the 
checking account. We have a few large purchases, so that will have gone 
down. At Winterkingdom there is a treasurer's class for anyone 
interested, it is good for 2 years. I will be stepping down in August at 
the end of my term.  Anyone interested please contact me and I can work 
with them in learning the office.  In my opinion we need to look at the 
price of site fees, because remember that the NMS increased this year 
and so did the SCA membership fee.

*Herald: *not present

*MOC: *not present

*B & B: *We were able to get 95% of the 20 poles completed today. Our 
Barony is doing great things with teaching and learning things. Skills 
are viral, we have amazing talented people that are sharing and teaching 
others. Will work with the webminister about getting the members list 
updated on the website, also the officers pages need updated, each 
officer should have something on their page, even if you use the boiler 
plate that we submitted months ago.  Any updates by the 20th of the 
month and the chronicler will be able to put in the Plume if 
appropriate. I feel everyone is doing a great job and working as a team.
