Notes from Namron's Officer Meeting 9/19/11 at the Hidden Castle

*Seneschal: *We have a new Chronicler, Xavier, who will be doing the 
Plume in October. Kathryn is taking over as treasurer, will go this week 
and get the signature done at the bank. We are open for bids for Beltane 
and open for a Med Faire Coordinator, anyone interested; send an email 
to HE Caterina and myself. We also have the Knights Marshal position 
open until the December Populace meeting. Lord Alexander is stepping 
down in January. There will be a Protectorate planning meeting after 
Populace meeting in October.  We are gearing up for Protectorate right 
now, there are 2 more work days if anyone is interested in volunteering 
and helping with clean up, they are September 24th and October 1st. 
There was a big storm that caused havoc at the event this past weekend; 
there were a number of people who did get their tents destroyed.  Out of 
the two tents (The Calm in the Storm and Gwyneth) that we had at the 
event, the only damage to them was 2 side poles were snapped in two. So 
we did not have much damage.  The Herald was unable to come tonight due 
to mundane work issues, but he sent his report with me. There is not 
much to report at this time, but if anyone knows of someone that is 
interested in site and list heraldry at Protectorate to contact him.

*Archery Marshal:* Calm in the Storm where it has been patched in the 
corner, does seem to need a repair done to it, it has became loose. 
Alexander and I worked today and cleaned all the stakes, and ropes and 
dried the tent. There will be a fun archery shoot at Protectorate run by 
Lord Laurence of the Greenwood who has several shoots planned. Royal 
Huntsman will be on Sunday at 8am, there will be no loaner gear for the 
Royal Huntsman. Lord Cian will be putting out on the list and website, 
but I believe that there will be a combination of target archery and 
combat archery for the competition.

*Chivalric Marshal:* Practice is 7pm at Sellers Park every Wednesday.  
At Protectorate there will be a Swiss 5 tournament for the Namron 
Protector. We do have the barriers available from Moonshadowe for the 
Protector Tournament. Depending if the burn ban has been lifted will 
decide if we have the Torch Light Tourney on Friday night. If the burn 
ban is still in effect, there will be no fighting on Friday night, but 
if it is lifted, then the Torch Light Tourney will be the bear pit with 
single sword.

*Hospitaler:* Any donations of garb or material to make garb is 
welcomed. I am still waiting to hear back from Lord Bucello about the 
clothes racks. I hope we have them before Protectorate. I still have not 
been able to get the stuff from Lord Chris or HE Adena. But will be 
trying to get it arranged to get the loaner garb before Protectorate.

*Minister of Children:* working on plans for Protectorate. Any and all 
ideas would be appreciated from anyone. Will be talking with Adairan 
about possibly getting the puppets. There will be a piñata, just need to 
figure out a theme. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be 
appreciated.

*Rapier Marshal:* Practice at Sellers at 7pm on Tuesday nights. We are 
still averaging 8-9 fighters each practice. People are getting more and 
more serious about the fighting, there will be 3 or 4 who plan on being 
at Protectorate and helping with marshalling. My deputies made a new bag 
for the loaner gear, since the old one was falling apart.

*Chronicler:* any articles for the Plume would be appreciated. Will be 
getting template from Lyric and anything else she has for the office.

*Treasurer:* Will be getting signature card done this week and getting 
material from Adena.

*Webminister:* Not Present

*Herald:* Not Present, report given by Seneschal.

*Baronessa:* I will be attending the International Festival in Lawton on 
Saturday, if anyone is interested, I will be down there. It is located 
at 3rd and NW Ferris Ave Elmer Thomas Park Lawton OK. We have only 2 
more Mondays left before Protectorate, I will speak with Lady Giselle 
and then put on the list which Monday we will have a Protectorate site 
token work day here at the Hidden Castle.
