Greetings all,

Bear and I will be hosting another get together on October 20th.  We will have fighter practice, armor making/repair, a stitch n' bitch for those who want to sew, learn how to sew or need assistance with garb and/or ideas. This is to help new people get going and for established members to work on those hand projects we never find time for, socialize and impart knowledge to newcomers and others.

Time: 1:00pm to ??? (revel/drumming/dancing in the evening)

Where:    Our house:  19897 Brookshire Rd.
                                    Arcadia, OK  73007

What to bring:  whatever you like to drink during the day (we will have tea available)
                        potluck dish to share
                        chair
                        portable projects to work on
                        drum/dance stuff
                        rugs to dance on outside

If you want revel and drink alcohol, bring what you want.  You will need a designated non-drinking driver to take you home, or plan to crash here.  No exceptions!!  We have space for several to crash in the house and plenty of area for tents outside.

For those who don't know, we started having these monthly get togethers last Spring to help new people get started.  They have expanded to include a general sharing of knowledge, arts and crafts, getting to know others from various groups, etc.  We would like to see drummers and dancers come out to share their knowledge, too.

This is a weekend with no local events.  We would love to see lots of people sharing knowledge and having a good time.  I would appreciate replies so Bear will know how much meat to cook. If you want to crash here, let us know so we can buy extra breakfast foods for Sun. morning.

We hope to see many of you on Oct. 20th.  Come and have fun!

In Service to the Dream,
Etienett
