Hi. A couple years ago I had a similar idea to show people what we do since it is not easy to quickly explain. I have several display boards that show various activities, such as fighting, classes, feast, archery and so on. I like the idea of people in mundane clothes to contrast with SCA clothes. 
This has really seemed to help even if the boards are hard to set up in wind. Let's do more and picture boards too.
