[Namron] Med Fair Hospitaler's idea

Danr and I were talking about this over breakfast, and came up with this:

What if the posters of SCA members were split, with one half showing the
person in modern dress and the other half showing them in garb (two photos,
photoshopped together)?  The text could say "Dean Hougen / computer
sciences professor | Danr Rothrson / 10th c. Viking" plus the snappy quote
about why he loves the SCA.  This could be another way in which we
demonstrate the broad range of our members -- we have people from so many
different occupations and backgrounds.  And by demonstrating the
transformation, it might really help people imagine themselves as
participants.  It's a Walter Mitty sort of thing.

(and because I know the obvious thing for me to do is to volunteer to DO
all these things I'm imagining, I have to say that while I would help as
much as I can, I am supposed to take it easy for the next month or so and
cannot commit to head anything up.  If no one can do it this year, I'll
volunteer for next year!)
