For those of us who enjoy post 1600 war history this is a fascinating raid that occurred during WWII and illustrates how war technology continues to evolve, something we are well aware of as we compare early SCA Period versus late SCA Period.  And it is well worth the quest to find and watch The Dam Busters, a very well done British movie.
