[Namron] Medieval Fair at OU Fan Fest

Not only is this Homecoming but it is a BIG GAME for the Sooners.  If they can beat the pesky Red Raiders then happiness will return to the Sooner Nation.  Hopefully the crowd will be plenty big and plenty feisty.  It would be great if several SCAdians in full garb, perhaps with a little Sooner flair, wandered the Fan Fest promoting the Fair and the SCA. 

Parking is rough on Gameday but if you arrive early enough you can often find street parking in the residential area south of Lindsey across from the Duck Pond.

The event is the parking lot east of Jenkins between Brooks and Page.  See the link above for more information and map.
This could be a great opportunity to recruit members and to let people know what we’re all about.  Bring flyers if you have them.
Wear your costume (but no weapons) or a Medieval Fair shirt if you’re coming to help.  (PLEASE come help…I don’t want to be the only one there.)
We will be handing out cups and flyers and might do a song and dance or two if we feel so inspired.
Setup begins at 10:00 am and Fan Fest opens to the public about 11:00 am.  
Sorry, I don’t have any advice regarding parking.
