As Med Fair approaches we are looking for volunteers to help man the different areas throughout the Embassy. Help is needed for the A&S tent, Living History, the Main Gate, walking through the crowds, and else where.
For every two hours of volunteer time, you will receive a ticket for a raffle drawing. Currently, there will be five drawings, one Friday, two Saturday, and two Sunday. The more prizes we get, the more drawings we can to do to thank those for their hard work.Friday - Tunic (made to your measurements) - donated by Margherita
Saturday (2 drawings) - Nallbinding mittens OR socks - donated by Adena
(2 drawings) - 12 in. Strand Viking/Saxon/Roman Beads OR one custom bead, made to order - Donated by Bea
Sudnay - Pants (made to your measurements) - donated by Caterina
Custom Viking Necklace - Donated by Kyna
I will have sign in sheets to keep track of hours to make sure everyone gets the correct amount of raffle tickets.
Also, though who are in charge of a particular area (list field, hospitaler, hospitality, front gate, etc) will get one ticket per day in the drawing.
The fair is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am - 7 pm. Volunteers will be needed during that time all weekend. Please help keep every area manned so that one person is not stuck in the same place all day every day. While we all enjoy working in the Embassy, we all also would like to have a chance to enjoy the fair as well.
