"Sin and Death in Dante: From Limbo to the Lowest Circles of Hell" presented by Roberto Pesce, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, University of Oklahoma.
Over the doorway of Hell, in Dante's Inferno, are the words: "Abandon all hope, you who enter here." Dr. Pesce's talk will focus on the first and the last sinners visited by Dante, to explore how the great Italian poet developed his cosmic view of human sinfulness.
