Because I was asked for clarification regarding Sunday's events:
If you are interested in improvisational theater and possibly being part of the Medieval Fair Cast then join us at the Improvisation Workshop at the Union. If you prefer scripted theater such as the Human Combat Chess Match or are interested in social groups such as the Arthurian Order of Avalon or the Society for Creative Anachronism, then stop by the Open House at the Forum.
Medieval Fair Department Upcoming Events

Sunday September 29, 1:00pm-5:00pm Oklahoma Memorial Union, Scholars Room (Third Floor, North End), 900 Asp Ave.
Improvisation Workshop
This is just a casual (garb not required) get together to stretch our improvisational muscles a bit before auditions and before the real rehearsal season begins. If you're contemplating joining Cast this is a great opportunity to meet other cast members and see what our rehearsals are like. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that permit you to move easily.

Cast Auditions for Medieval Fair 2020
Be more than just an observer, become part of the team that brings the Medieval Fair to life!
These are improv auditions. You don't need to prepare any audition materials ahead of time; that's the magic of improvisational theater. Come prepared to show off your loudest voice or quietest whisper, to sing a song or perhaps to whistle it, to delicately dance or trippingly tumble, to share what you love to do or to ask us why we do this. Everyone, veterans and novices alike, must audition. Costumes are NOT required for auditions. If you are unable to attend this day, please contact Ann Marie Eckart by email at ameckart at ou.edu.
Beggars, peasants, townspeople, nobles and others are needed. This is your opportunity to learn a lot about interactive environmental performance (street theater) and a little about medieval history, costuming, dances and more. You don't have to be an actor, just a good team player that is willing to learn and to have fun!

See you there!
