<P>Can you wait three months without a pay check? Most merchants can't. For some this is our lively hood. As in Calontir (Lilies War) they have a similiar law. The SCA reports which merchants shows up and gives them tax forms to fill out. It is then up to the merchants to file. You ban us for three months and we will make plans of going elsewhere and if the mood strikes us, we may come back. You will be surprised just how many people depend on merchants. Imagine in order to get armor, garb, leather works, feast gear and the many other items that everyone has come to depend on finding at an event, that you will have to travel out of state. Most people that play barely have enough funds just to get to a local event.</P>
