<DIV>Greetings to all!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It warms my heart to recieve tidings from our Baroness this week in which
she tells me of the abundance of revelry and festivities this
Beltane past. I am sorrowful to have missed it.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have, however, attempted to use what little spare time I possess for
research into my personna's character and origination. After much study,
relflection and discovery that Byzantine women's garments were rather stiff
and shapeless, (not to mention EVERY PART OF THE BODY WAS COVERED BUT FOR THE
FACE...Including HANDS for heavens' sake!), I realize that the life of a
Byzantine woman must not be for me. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So, I am at this time undertaking the quest for information on the dress
and customs of Medieval women of Morovia and Bohemia. I'm finding little
to go on at this juncture and would love someone to point me in the proper
direction...suggested reading, images and patterns, etc...</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'm hoping that and eastern European personna might allow me to keep
Samarrah as my name due to the exposure from trade routes to other
cultures. I must admit, I've become fond of my new moniker.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Also...would anyone know if there is a "Hair Braiding for Dummies" book
in print and where I could get my clumsey little hands on it? I am quite
inept at braiding hair, mine own especially!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Until Tuesday eve...I bid you all a lovely week's end.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
