Easy now. I said there was a sick horse, and I know that
horses are sensitive to sound (rather twitchy, kind of like some of my
ex's). A sudden noise could have made the horse jerk and potentially make
the issue worse. I never said it CAUSED the sick horse.

I used that
as an example of permission being needed from people who know everything that
was going on. The only reason I even knew about the horse was I happened
to be walking by when Her Excellency Maleah was talking with someone about
it. I am something of an animal lover (except for cats, whom I merely
tolerate), and took notice of the horse issue.

The point was that the
cannonette could have caused damage BEYOND the obvious deafening of Tadgh's
ears. These are things that a few people in charge should be aware of, so
that the rest of us could try to enjoy ourselves.

As a further note, the
site rules were as follows:

1. No firearms

3. No fireworks or other explosives

I think that should have summed it up completely.

Folks, I am in this to have some fun. So far, I think
I've accomplished it. Although, Constance will certainly testify that I
get a bit testy when I'm trying to get things done in a hurry. (Apologies
again Constance, and if you still want to use that whip on me...)
The point is, that we need to follow the rules, and be considerate of
others. And then have some fun!!!

Duncan has admitted his error, and we've all agreed it was a
mistake. Now let's bury this dead horse (no pun intended), and get on with
our lives.

On that note, I'm going to bed. I'll be seeing one of
you in my dreams, and that lady certainly knows who I'm talking
about!!!!
