I don't think that putting the pop list on line is a good idea either. I know that there has been a printed populace list previously, and I was wondering if your information was current on that list.
I also was wondering if we have a system for calling people, because you are right it is frustrating to not know when Pop has been canceled. 

But I am also saying instead of simply getting online a griping about it perhaps we could work towards changing things. Like all of us making sure our contact information is current and available, and perhaps organizing ourselves into some sort of calling tree. Then the information is not on the internet, but it is also not completely on one or two people to call everyone who might come to pop that night.
