saying we shouldn't use the list to pass on information. Only that the official
discussion of issues that affect the Barony, such as where to have future
meetings, would be at populace meeting. It doesn't make sense to have a
discussion at populace meeting and have everyone give their reasoning and the
pros and cons of each decision, only to turn around and have that exact same
discussion on the list. If you have strong feelings on the matter at hand
and you can't make it to that populace meeting, then I can only suggest asking
someone else to convey your message for you, or contact the Seneschal ahead of
time. Believe me; I understand not being able to make it to populace
meeting. For a long time, my work had me out of the state for months at a
time, and I'm sure decisions were made in the Barony when I had no chance to
give my input.

Again, no one is against spreading information via the list. And I think
our Seneschal has done a very good job with that considering how quickly the
weather can change around here. We just don't want to have to duplicate
every discussion and repeat the same considerations over and over.</span></p>
