Beltane, I will have time slots as soon as Namron has their officers <BR>meeting. <BR><BR>1. Age Groups:<BR>Minor youth 11 or below<BR>Minor Intermediate 12-17<BR>Open Age 18 and above<BR><BR>Each age group will have their own verison of the same games at <BR>basically the same time(different weights, throwing distances, <BR>etc). This way the parents/guardian of the children will be there <BR>to sign each child under 18 in on their sign up list and can help <BR>keep an eye on them. NO SEPERATE CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES.<BR> <BR>2. Tribe will be our setup and take down crew, to hire them the Inn <BR>has to feed them (and I will have a list of which ones will be on <BR>the crew) for the weekend.<BR> <BR>3. Namron's cooking guild is fixing the Crowns luncheon.<BR><BR>4. The Inn's own lovely Barbara will be doing a Tavern for the <BR>event. (Barbara please let me know what all you need).<BR><BR>5. Titled Bard will be run by last
years adult winner, judged by <BR>the entrants age groups and overseen by the current or acting <BR>officer.<BR><BR>6. Titled Brewer will be run by last years winner (NO ONE UNDER 21 <BR>will be allowed to enter).<BR><BR>7. Archery Champion will be run by last years adult winner, judged <BR>by the entrants age groups and overseen by the current or acting <BR>marshall.<BR><BR>8. Knife, Axe and Spear will be run by last years adult winner, <BR>judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by the current or <BR>acting marshall.<BR><BR>9. Arts and Science will be a scroll done from materials on hand at <BR>site for the May Queen and Princess, judged by the entrants age <BR>groups and overseen by the current or acting officer.<BR><BR>10. May Queen and Princess, judged by the entrants age groups and <BR>overseen by the Inn's Vanessa.<BR><BR>11. Maypole dancing we will have a hidden boom box for music, <BR>judged by the entrants age groups and overseen
by the the Inn's <BR>Linda.<BR><BR>12. Deflower a maiden judged by the entrants age groups and <BR>overseen by the Inn's Vanessa. At gate every lady at the event is <BR>given a flower and the gentlemen try to charm the ladies into giving <BR>their flowers away (STEALING DOES NOT COUNT). The lord with the <BR>most flowers in the end wins.<BR><BR>13. Kissing Stones judged by the entrants age groups and overseen <BR>by the Inn's Vanessa. 1" white rocks will be paint with a heart on <BR>each rock. To be passed out at gate. Renaissance girls would do <BR>this and slip the rock to a boy they liked. He could exchange it <BR>for a kiss. This would be nice to take home after the event.<BR><BR>14. Tug of War judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by <BR>the Innn's Linda. On the signal each team starts to try and pull <BR>the other team of four to six off balance and across the hazard or <BR>gives up due to
exhaustion.<BR><BR>15. Spang Hewing judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by <BR>the (up for grabs at this time) Hurl wet fabric frog on the end of <BR>a stick at a target.<BR><BR>16. Caber Toss judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by <BR>the Inn's Lord Pooky. The entrant hoists the caber and folds his <BR>hands under then end while cradling it against his shoulder. <BR>Gaining the balance of the upright caber. They will run briefly with <BR>it to gain momentum for the toss. Followed by field judges, the <BR>competitor heaves the caber up and over to ground its heavy end and <BR>let it fall forward. The field judge will ascribe a "score" to the <BR>toss. If the caber is "turned" it will be scored with its final <BR>position relative to face of a gaint clock, 12:00 being a perfect <BR>score. If the caber is grounded but doesn't turn,it is scored by <BR>the degree it rose from the ground.
<BR><BR>17. The Clachneart or "Stone" judged by the entrants age groups <BR>and overseen by the Inn's (up for grabs at this time). Using a <BR>stone approximately 16 lbs to 28 lbs, with women using 11 lbs. The <BR>stone must be put from the front of the shoulder using one hand <BR>only. The contestants are judged on the longest of the three <BR>tosses. Contestans must throw the stone as far as possible keeping <BR>one foot stationary against the trig, the world record 62' 11"<BR><BR>18. The Hammer throw weighing 16 lbs to 23 lbs is thrown for <BR>distance, judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by the <BR>Inn's Stacy. The athlete throws the hammer with his back to the <BR>trig and the throwing area. The competitor's feet may not move <BR>until after he releases the hammer. He whirls the hammer around his <BR>head as fast as possible releasing it at it's maximun speed. Each <BR>athlete gets three throws
with the hammer and is jubded by his best <BR>distance. Touching the top of the trig or the ground in front of it <BR>renders the throw foul.<BR><BR>19. Wench Race judged by the entrants age groups and overseen by <BR>the Inn's Dottie. Using a picture the wenches fill from a bucket <BR>they run to fill the gentlemens cup without spilling liquid, and <BR>returns back to the start line.<BR><BR>20. I will be starting a list for gate sign up overseen by the <BR>Inn's Vanessa. It will be set up in 1/2 hour increments with a <BR>token of appreciation given after a certain amount of time <BR>voluntered.<BR><BR>21. I will be starting a list for port-a-pottie checkes once an <BR>hour to make sure there is plenty of papper, etc.<BR><BR>22. I have Parking Hangers that will be given to everyone who signs <BR>up at gate for their rear view mirrors to try and keep tabs on <BR>anyone gate crashing.<BR><BR>23. After I get the time slots I will work on
