Just like with the fighter practices you can have both local and
regional activities. Also, I'm sure we could work up carpooling for
the regional actives. We already do for the regional fighter practices.<br>

too but the problem there is that #1 there is currently not a Baronial
Knights Marshall (No big deal cause someone will step up and take the
position sooner or later) but #2 there wasnt much of a fighter presence

This is the main reason I would like to see it combined; to try and
give more people a reason to come out to fighter practice.

The problem I've always heard is that it's a Catch 22. No one wants to
come out to fighter practice (speaking about non fighters) because
there's nothing for them to do. And there's never anything going on,
because no one ever shows up. The only way I see to break the cycle is
to have other <i>planned</i> activities going on at the same time and
place. Children's boffer, bardic, an occasional picnic, something to
give people a reason to come out again.<br>

That's my rambling thoughts on the subject.<br>
