Actually, If you look at how hobbits are portrayed, I can't conceive
of it being a degradation at all. In the stories we all know and love,
hobbits are shown to be kind-hearted fun-loving people, who enjoy the
simple pleasures in life and don't put on a lot of airs. They are also
shown to have the inner strength to take on very challenging tasks and
see them through.<br>

If this is how people perceive us, then I consider myself honored and
will strive to live up to that.<br>
