Calontir, for it is close in distance for us. If any would like to

<p>Greetings to the equestrian of Calontir,<br>
<br>
As you are aware there will be an Emprise at the<br>
Tournament of Horse and Falcons (currently being<br>
called Constantinople vs Istanbul) May 25th through<br>
the 28th. The Emprise will take place on Saturday.<br>
<br>
The following are the requirements to enter the<br>
Emprise,<br>
<br>
The Emprise will be open to advanced riders only. <br>
<br>
Each rider MUST have barding, we are not requiring<br>
full barding but it is highly encouraged. At the very<br>
minimum you must have strap barding. <br>
<br>
It is also requested that the rider’s clothing match<br>
the barding in some way (colors preferably but design<br>
elements will be acceptable also)<br>
<br>
Each rider must bring a wooden plaque 9 inches by 12<br>
inches (give or take a half of an inch) that has their<br>
arms and name on it. If you do not have arms<br>
registered a shield in your colors will work along<br>
with your name. These plaques need to have a string<br>
or some way for them to be hung up.<br>
<br>
Each rider needs a herald, we are working on providing<br>
each rider with their own, however if you know someone<br>
who can act as your herald please drag them along.<br>
<br>
Each rider will need to write out what they want the<br>
heralds to say when they are introduced to the<br>
gallery. It can be whatever you want, SCA awards,<br>
things made up about your persona or what ever. <br>
Please include your horses name at least if not some<br>
of their ‘deeds’<br>
<br>
Since we need to line up the heralds please let me<br>
know as soon as possible if you are planning on riding<br>
in the Emprise.<br>
<br>
If you have any questions about how it is going to be<br>
run, please ask.<br>
<br>
Just for information, there will be no mounted combat<br>
or jousting in the Emprise.<br>
<br>
If there are any out of kingdom riders that anyone<br>
knows are planning to attend, please forward this info<br>
to them.<br>
