officer's meetings. Perhaps the Seneschal could give a quick "State of
the Barony" summation at populace meeting to go over anything that is actually
new. It would give us time to go over things like upcoming events or
projects that the populace would like to discuss, or just spend time enjoying
each other's company or learning something new.

<FONT size=2

there is a change that need to be brought to attention for a specific reason
does it need to be vocalized before the group as a whole. Changes in armor
requirements for instance only need to be conveyed to fighters. What the group
as a whole need to hear about are things like an office needs to be filled,
there is an event in the offing, the Crown needs something. A short
business meeting followed by something else would be more interesting for most
of us.
