Felemid, <div><br></div><div>The Above and Beyond table is a table of gifts that are offered to people who go "Above and Beyond" in their volunteer efforts at the war. Basically, when a certain number of volunteer hours have been reached by a single person, that person gets to select an item from the Above and Beyond table.</div>
<div><br></div><div>So, as for what kind of crafts could be built for this table....I try to think of gifts that I would give to someone who had gone Above and Beyond for me personally. It's doesn't have to cost a ton...It doesn't have to miles of trim or anything like that...</div>
<div><br></div><div>Volunteers receive a metal leaf for working a certain number of hours, then when they go above that, they chose from the Above and Beyond table....</div><div><br></div><div>I can't really point you in the direction of what you should make as I don't know your skill sets...but hopefully, by understanding what the Above and Beyond is all about will help you to find a path for your crafts. </div>

I've visited the lands of Northkeep and Bryn Gwlad, and have heard words of<br>
generosity and enthusiasm for the thought of "cool stuff" on the Above and<br>
Beyond table at Gulf Wars. I'd like to extend the conversation: Do you have<br>
a craft that brings you joy in the process of creation? Please consider<br>
making and bringing a small piece or three for the enjoyment of your fellow<br>
Gulf Wars attendees who will spend substantial time working for everyone's<br>
benefit over our vacation.<br>

I've heard promises of simple crafting kits (ie knitting: needles, a ball<br>
of yarn, and a pattern; trichonopoly: a spool of wire, a dowel rod, small<br>
wire clippers, and directions), hats, half-hand wrist warmers, leather<br>
mugs, tooled leather mug coasters, silk pennants, card/inkle trim, and<br>
more! If transportation of items is a concern for you, please let me know<br>
and we can make arrangements to meet or have some other kind of hand-over.<br>
