As I am sure many of you have heard I have been playing around in the world of acting and small inde films shot here in Oklahoma. Recently, I was cast as “Sir Morningsbreath” in a movie that will be called Moonshine Chalice. It is a dark comedy set in approximately the 12<sup>th</sup> century (with a short trip to the 19<sup>th</sup> century i.e. magic). Think Monty Python and the Holy Grail meets the Three Stooges. The director has asked if I could help her with the costuming and fight sequences for the film. So here is my problem, I need to borrow some 12<sup>th</sup> century garb for 3 ladies and several men’s characters. There will be at least one scene, possibly more, in the movie where we will need a number of extras in medieval garb. I will know more tonight after I meet with her and receive the complete script. Since I am assisting with more than just being an actor, I am going to ask her if she would list the SCA in the credits of the movie. If anyone is willing to help and has garb that would be appropriate for approx. 12<sup>th</sup> cent England/France (i.e. crusader period) please let me know. This is a comedy not a period documentary so exact accuracy is not required. If I can I am going to tap the SCA whenever possible so we get the publicity.
