David Wayne Brown, age 57, passed away on June 6, 2014 in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma. David was born May 16, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico,
to James and Betty Brown. He attended Midwest City High School where he
met his wife, Peggy Raulerson, and graduated in 1975. David and Peggy
were married October 23, 1975.</p><p> David served in the Air Force from
1976 to 1979. His postings took his new small family to Bossier City,
Louisiana, and Guam before being medically discharged.</p><p> David loved to camp and hike. This love of outdoors he shared and passed on to his children and grandchildren.</p><p>
David is known by many in the Society for Creative Anachronism as
Bucello da Murano. In the SCA, he nurtured and shared his love of glass,
leather, woodworking and metal working. He loved to create beautiful
art. </p><p> Everyone knew David as a playful and funny man. He was also earnest and thoughtful and a great and dear friend to many.</p><p>
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggy; daughter, Angela and
husband Chris; daughter, Stacy and husband Dustin; daughter, Natalie and
husband Rick; son, Curtis; grandchildren, Sheldon, Megan, Emily, Neil,
Kayla, Isabella, and Olivia; great granddaughter, Natayla; father,
James; mother, Betty; brother, Alton and wife, Coleen; nieces, Melissa,
Andrea, and Megan; and nephews, Jeff, Chris, and Shawn. He is preceded
in death by his granddaughter, Maranda Schoonover.</p><p> Memorial
services will be Saturday, June 14, 2014, 2 p.m., at Barnes Friederich
