<p class="MsoNormal">Most medieval sculptures are found on churches, and express orthodox views. The sculptures in Cordes, in the south of France, are on private mansions, and may be the only artistic record of the Cathar experience to survive the heresy’s
suppression by the Catholic Church in the thirteenth century.<o:p></o:p></p>
