Greetings, Good Gentles:

        Lord Owen of the Many Names, Third Margrave of Gnomon Vale invites
you to compete to become the Fourth Margrave of Gnomon Vale, Saturday
October 3rd at the Pittsburg Co. Fairgrounds (see Black Star for
directions).  This year's competition will be an "Owen's Five" with a random
drawing of weapons at each round.  BRING ALL YOUR TOYS!!  In this way Gnomon
Vale is assurred of a Margrave with a variety of skills at arms.  

        The Silver Cock Tavern will be serving on Saturday.  Menu is
pancakes for breakfast, beans and rice or bratwurst on a roll for lunch, and
roast beef with gravy, baked potatos, green beans and cobbler for dinner.
Breakfast and lunch will be priced a la carte, dinner is limited to the
first 60 or so and will be $6.
