The Festival of Japan will be held on April 23-25. We have always had much
praise about this event when we have done it in the past. There will be both
heavy and light tournaments and melees (details on types and scenarios are
still being hashed out).

The A&S competition will be with a Japanese theme. The Bardic competition
will consist of two pieces with a Japanese theme strongly suggested but not
required. There will also be a Hikau competition, which your Hikau can be one
of your pieces for the Bardic competition.

The feast will be expensive at $10.00 per person, but children 12 and under
are free. The feast will be a very big feast, we guarantee no one will leave
hungry. Feast will consist of a whole sea bass (very big fish) for each
table, fried rice, chicken stir fry, assorted appetizers and sherbirds
(sherbert in an origami box and a fortune cookie for the birds head) for
dessert.
The children will be severed hot dogs and will be allowed to pick off of
parents plate.

Please no pets unless they are service dogs.
All minors must wear identification bracelets. These will be provided at the
gate.
Fires must be in portable fire pits.
All fire pits must have a fire extinguisher nearby.
Alcohol consumption by minors will not be tolerated. All mundane laws will be
strictly enforced.

There are 4 cabins availabe. Each cabin has 16 beds. Beds can be reserved on
a first come first serve basis.

Site opens at 4pm Friday and closes at 12pm Sunday.
Site fee is $6.00, $3.00 for 15 and under, free for 6 and under ($24 max per
family)
Feast $10.00, 12 and under free. Only 40 reservations are being taken. This
event has sold out in past years.
