Greetings,

        I want to extend special thanks to the people who helped pull-off
feeding the Populace at the War despite difficult conditions.

        First, for the Ansteorran Chilli Supper, a big thanks to Sir Wilhelm
and Mistress Stasya for advice, pots, burners, propane and a prodigious
amount of habinero (sp?) sauce and peppers.  I still can't believe the Queen
of Trimaris happily ate a bowl of the Nuclear stuff!!  I could not have done
the supper without the help of members of House Wolfstar and House Wizard's
Keep.  Special thank you to Centurion Tor and Ld. Johann, Alphas of
Wolfstar, who won the Battle of the Beans.  Who knew it would be the only
combat they would see at war?  Thanks also to Ly. Elanor, Ld. Ainar, Ld.
Mathias, Ld. Sean, Ly. Christiana, Ld. Gideon, Jessemy, Ly. Kienna, Rodger
of the Wastelands, Torvi, Bridget, Sirracco and Shaharazad.  Ld. Thorvald
provided Wolfstar Power and Light which made seeing and heating possible.
Thanks also to our new players Hrothgar and Suzi who helped clean up that mess!!

        Only women of Ansteorra would be brave (and foolish?) enough to be
up in the rain at 6:00 in the morning to prepare the Ladies of the Rose
Breakfast.  Baroness Mairin deserves some sort of "Martha Stewart" award for
sending along the food, serving gear and beautiful napkin/favors with roses
painted on each for the Ladies of the Rose to keep.  Deep thanks to Master
Baron Lucais who went to great lengths to make sure all the supplies made
the journey from Namron to the War.  Ly. Valia and Ly. Deidre did an
excellent job of gathering together a crew, cooking eggs and coffee and then
running it back and forth from the kitchen to the main tent and finally in
acquiring and spreading the hay.  Didn't know you could get that cold and
wet, did you?  

        Once again the women of Wolfstar were there to help make the entire
thing possible.  I don't know what Valia, Dee and I would have done without
the help of Elanor, Christiana, Isa and Sirracco.  Ld. Ainar is truly an
example of the chivalry and honor to which I hope all Ansteorrans aspire.
He was tireless in trekking back and forth from the camp fetching cloaks,
*more* hot coffee--he even gave up his cloak to the lovely ladies standing
in the muck as they served breakfast.  Mathias and Sean helped with cleanup,
as did Shaharazad and Mistress Rianleaf.  You guys make great in-laws!   

        I'm sure I've forgotten someone deserving of praise.  Know that it
reflects my limited memory, and is intended as no slight to you.  This game
is only possible because so many people are willing to work so hard to
create a Dream.  Thank you again, one and all, for helping to contribute to
that Dream in the name of the Kingdom and your Houses.
