Maybe not, the cable system in norman is down.......
Was watching the tornado on the ground in Newcastle and western Moore when
the cable went down. The Channel nine helicopter crew are a bunch of crazy
people....Flying less than a mile from the tornado!!!

All of the hospitals in the area are on full disaster alert, and the
emergency rooms are swamped.

Tinker AFB has called all personal in the medical and support fields.

The Red cross has opened and is taking blood donations

The phone system in Norman is spotty, sometimes you get a dial tone
sometimes you dont. Getting online was a chore but can be done. My neighbor
told me if you pick up the phone and wait you will get a dial tone, this
seems to work..

The cities of Newcastle and west Moore seem to have been hit the hardest
with some damage in Del city and Edmond. The radio just reported (10:00)
that there hundreds of injuries coming into the local hospitals but said
nothing about casulities.

The local shelters in the OKC area have been asking for any donations that
people can give them. Blankets and food items are most needed.

My thoughts and prayers for all involved

will post more later
