I'd respectfully argue that point.  NRW raises money for the *group* 
that sponsors it.  As an administrative region, the North doesn't 
have a bank account or, to my knowledge, a fund specifically to 
benefit the region or cover expenses for regional events.  And, no, 
I'm not advocating that it get one.  Talk about a financial 
nightmare.

I don't remember if I've said this already, but a regional event in 
February followed closely by one in March or April seems a little 
labor intensive.  Trouble is, we're pretty much going to bump into 
someone on the calendar no matter when we schedule regional 
events.  Don't forget about Toy Tourney in November.  It's usually on 
the weekend after thanksgiving, so it rarely conflicts directly 
with anything, but it's still an event that requires the support of 
most of the region's groups.
