St Thompson's College will be offering the following classes this
week-end at NRTA. Enrollment begins at 10am at the Old Lodge. Many of
the classes are limited and or have a small fee for materials. You might
want to bring your chair, something to drink, and your work baskets and
munchies to be truly comfortable. Most of our offerings are hands on, so
please wear your 'work' garb (especially if you take the painted enamel
or sand casting classes).

10:30am til 2:30pm :
Painted Enamel, Mistress Catherine Black Rose-limit of 8 hands on
students,
2.50 materials fee.

10:30am til 12:am :
Drop Spindle Spinning, Mistress Raisya- limit of 6 if you use her
spindles, no fee.

Tassel Making, Mistress Stasya- limit of 8, please bring scissors, your
own threads welcomed, maybe a small fee if you use her materials.

12:00am til ?
Sand Casting with Silver, Master Beorthlic- students will be able to
watch, and some to assist, and maybe even take something home, fees if
the something is made of Beorthlic's silver

12:00am til 1:00 :
An Overview of the Islamic Woman, Mistress Stasya

12:00am til 2:00pm :
Pattern Drafting, HL Charles du Bourbon, CIM- limit of 8, takes 2 yds of
fabric, tape measure, marker, and scissors--some will be available, 3.00
fee if you use his material.

2:00pm til 4:00pm :
Good Garb in a Day, Mistress Catrin ferch Gwilym- limit of 12.

Card Weaving, Mistress Sigrid- limit of 6. Please bring your loom,
scissors, 3 colors of contrasting thread, 10 cards. Mistress 'Stacia has
cards and some thread available.

Women and SCA Combat, Mistress Gunhilda- No limit or fees. Based on the
right-foot-forward method, if you're a woman fighter or are working with
one
you'll appreciate this class!
