Greetings....
It came to my attention yesterday that there are some individuals out there
who took offense at my original post notifying everyone about the house
fire affecting Master Beorthlic, Lady Elizabetta and Lady Elisabeth last
Friday. Apparently, those offended felt that I was suggesting that Lady
Elisabeth had rented out a sub-standard home and was somehow to blame for
the fire.
Having re-read my original post several times, I am not at all sure where
anyone got that idea. For those in Northkeep and the region who know the
parties involved, it is well-known that the house rented to Beorhtlic and
Elizabetta was Elisabeth's home and the one in which her daughter, Olivia,
grew up. The house and many of its belongings had many fond memories for
Elisabeth and Olivia, and they feel the loss acutely. Moreover, Elisabeth
is my household sister and as such, I would never do anything to hurt her,
Olivia or their reputations.
I hope that this clarifies my intent. All parties involved have lost
memories, treasures and belongings. Thankfully, all parties involved are
safe and healthy. I will do my best to help them in any way I can.
If anyone has any further questions or concerns, please address them to me,
and I will answer them as best I can.
In service to Barony, Region and Kingdom,
Lady Rowan ni Coerc
Deputy Seneschal, Barony of Northkeep
