Yes, the SCA is a game. But, it's a game that is so much a part of all
aspects of my life that it is something that is near and dear to my heart,
and I suppose to everyone else on the list as well. And when something is
that special, people tend to be passionate about their game.

Please don't let this conversation and debate color you picture of how we
play SCA in Ansteorra and in the Northern Region. Much like you can have
drama and debate at the Board level of the Boy Scouts, yet it doesn't
affect the way the troops lead their meetings or campouts. But, the drama
and debate at the higher levels can cause positive changes to be made down
the line.

It's also important to remember that this is not a new debate, and so many
of the people in the region have had years of playing the SCA in the North
help form their opinions.

So, even though this conversation is going on here, I seriously doubt that
if you went to Namron Protectorate, the fact that Principality is being
discussed again would affect whether or not you had a good time at the
event.

in service, I remain,
Gio.
