To which I can only reply (after the pain subsides):
1) Oh, and d'ye truly think it was my scintillating personality that got me 
elected by those 'horse people' ye mentioned?  Sure wasn't my rugged good 
looks.
2) In that case the work came AFTER the election.  Just ask the CURRENT 
office-holder.  Sure, g'head, she doesn't bite (much).
