My view is period food is appealing if properly prepared, and that the

I have to agree with you here, tho Gio made some good points. Period doesn't
have to be inedible. One of the things I try hard to ensure when I do feast,
soup kitchen or whatever food event I am working on, though, is that there
are dishes for those who are vegetarians as well as those who have well-known
food allergies. Not always an easy job and still maintain the period theme
but well worth the effort. (Trying to work around wheat allergies or other
grain allergies has proven to be the most difficult for me. It is just hard
to make sure there is enough other things to make it worthwhile for those
people to buy feast and enjoy it.)

So is this a private conversation and if so how can I wrangle an invitation
to it if I make Protectorate. I am willing to work while we discuss.... and
they tell me I am usually a pretty good hand to have working in the kitchen.
