Oh, I don't think you can drop a bomb like that and expect no equally 
public reaction.  You accuse Barn's *family* of destroying regional 
unity? I'm his wife.  Who else did you have in mind was responsible?

I'd love to sit and talk to you about this because I never imagined 
you to be so judgmental about people you haven't even bothered to 
speak to.

I know exactly what destroyed *my* concept of regional unity and 
it was the idea that my friends (some of whom I counted closer 
than blood) would rather sit in judgment on me than come and 
ask what I was thinking.  It was the knowledge that people I trusted 
could use me (as Crown) to get awards for themselves and others, then 
turn and accuse me of having self-serving ulterior motives for giving 
those awards (kindof a catch 22, if you ask me).  Yeah, that kind of 
stuff will sure destroy friendships, not to mention any illusions I 
had about honor and this game.  

If you want to make any more public comments, please feel free but 
know that I *will* reply just as publicly.
