Gee, how easy it is to whip out those paintbrushes & slap on the paint.
For the record, I've known Kat & Bar for a long time & I've NEVER heard
either of them, either in public or private, threaten to "take someone out
of the SCA". You want BULLCRAPOLA!!!, implying that Barn makes a habit of
that fits my definition precicely.
I'm fairly certain that I know the incident being (accurately or not)
referred to, & all I can say is that if a person's entire character can be
judged on a single incident, then based on his postings the last couple of
days, I would have to conclude that Merrik is a sarcastic, belligerent, rude
boor. Not that he *is*, mind you, because I don't know him that well, but if
I were to make such judgement based on what I have seen in this brief slot
of time, that would be my conclusion.
"Largely responsible"? Not even close. I saw a lot of reprehensible behavior
from a lot of people, a lot of backstabbing, powergrabbing crap that soured
me on this game for a long time. If that's going to come back, there are
lots of other things that I can do with my spare time.
