Thanks for the feedback about period food for kitchens at war.  I'm happy to
learn.

I should mention that the vast majority of the folk I cooked for believe
"vegatables are what food eats," and that "meat is a jealous god."  Needless
to say, there are a large number of wolves involved.

I'm game for suggestions and recipes.  Bear, I've eaten enough of your food
to trust you implicitly.
