Greetings,

I am rather upset with this issue and the events leading up to this point. I
plan to write to the appropriate parties. However, I don't agree that this
is "'nuff said".

>we can however choose to go beyond the finger pointing and theaccusations.
I know we are all adults, I think it's high >time that we 'all' start acting
like adults.

In the "adult" world people are held accountable for thier actions.

>Write the Crown and Kingdom Seneschal tell them how you feel, what you see
going on. But most important of all, >'talk' to one another. If you have a
problem with someone or how something has been handled 'talk to' that
>person, not 'about' that person.

I agree that sometimes a calm discussion with someone can clear up
misunderstandings. My relationship with Meleah is a prime example. At one
time we were like two cats hissing at each other. Now, we are close friends.
It took work and an open mind to patch up an old , rather silly quarrel.

But this is not always the case. What does one do when one has a calm talk
with the person with whom one has a problem., that person takes one's
words, twists them beyond recognitition, then goes on a charactor
assassination crusade. It seems that anything that one says or does is
somehow used against them. One is hesitant to have contact with that person.
The pathetically amusing thing is that when one speaks out against that
person's behavior, *the speaker* is labled as a "troublemaker" and censored
for their actions because they did not discuss the problem with the person
(who has a history of taking one's words out of context, inserting a small
grain of truth to make their version believable, then going on a character
assassination crusade).

Can you not see the paradox?

We have some serious problems in the Barony that we must resolve before we
self-destruct. Sweeping them under the rug and ignoring them is not working.
People must be held accountable for their actions AND people must not be
punished for something they did *not* do.
