Knowing Uriah's talents it will be a truly wonderful staff!
However, I believe (heralds correct me if I'm wrong) that the title
of "premier" is reserved for the first to hold a title.  Our Barony's
Premier Bard was the extremely talented H.L. Fionnagan Dubh.  He
might take exception to being usurped.  Or he might not, depending on
his mood :)

However, this year's champion will definitely be the first to carry
this awesome pass down prize.  To the best of my recollection,
Wiesenfeuer has always been blest with extremely top-notch
competitors for our Bardic title.  We would be honored to have Bards
from all over come join us to compete.  I understand our current
champion, HL (soon to be Master of the Laurel) Darius of the Bells,
has a challenging competition planned this year.
