Since most people will be at Gulf War, this shouldn't be a huge problem, but
so so there is no question -- I'm going to be gone for a number of days next
week, starting Wednesday, and going on through Thursday.  The barriers
around the list will keep it from any unwanted mail from non-list members.
Unfortunately, this means that no WANTED mail from non-list members will be
getting through either.  If you post something to the List, and it doesn't
get through; check and see if you are actually subscribed.  A number of
people who write to the list aren't - or they aren't subscribed with the
email account they are writing from.
